How to Download Facebook Videos Free

Facebook has lots of interesting videos but no direct option to just download what you're watching. However, with just a couple of clicks, you can often download those videos and save them for future entertainment or posterity. In this article, you'll learn a couple of ways to download Facebook videos for free using a third-party. Just follow these instructions.
STEPS..
  1. 1
Find a video you like. Most likely, your current news feed will contain several to experiment with.
    • Many of the videos posted on Facebook are hosted by YouTube, and simply shared on Facebook. To grab those, you'll need to download them directly from YouTube. (The site hosting the video will generally be embedded in the video frame.)

    • A video that is actually hosted by Facebook won’t credit any other website.
  2. 2
Grab the link. To get the link to a Facebook video, right-click on the name of the video and select Copy link address or Copy link location.

  3. 3
Go to http://fbdown.net or http://www.downvids.net/ . These sites are very simple and straightforward, and lets you pull in any Facebook-hosted video, where you can share it back to Facebook, tweet it, embed it in your blog or website, or download it. Like YouTube, it even has a provision for making comments. The link is provided below.

  4. 4
Paste the URL. At the top of the page, click in the Enter the video link field, and paste the link URL into that field.

  5. 5
Click Download. A link to the video you selected as well as new links will appear in a new page containing HD (High Definition) or SD Video.
  6. 6
Save the video. Right-click Download Video in High Quality or Download Video in Low Qualityand select Save As. This will open a dialog box asking you where you’d like to save the mp4.

    • Open the video in a new window. You can also left-click Download this Video, which will open a new tab showing the video. Right-clicking on the video from here will also give you the option to save, but only if you have Quick Time Pro.
  7. 7
Choose a download name and location and click Save.

15 Tips to Increase Blog Traffic

Simple Ways to Get Your Blog Noticed in the Blogosphere

The blogosphere is a big and busy world with over 100 million blogs and growing. How do you attract visitors to your blog? Follow these simple tips to drive traffic to your blog.

1. Write Well and Write Often

Frequently updating your blog with useful content is the first step to building your blog's audience. The content you write is what will keep readers coming back for more. Make sure you have something meaningful to say to them and say it often to maintain their interest and keep them loyal.
Furthermore, post frequently to increase the number of chances you have for your blog's content to be noticed by search engines such as Google or Technorati.

2. Submit Your Blog to Search Engines

Get on the radar screen for the popular search engines such as Google and Yahoo! bysubmitting your blog's URL to them. Most search engines provide a 'Submit' link (or something similar) to notify the search engine of your new blog, so those search engines will crawl it and include your pages in their results.
It's important to understand that simply submitting your blog to search engines doesn't mean your pages will appear at the top of a Google search results screen, but at least your blog will be included and will have the chance of being picked up by a search engine.

3. Use and Update Your Blogroll

By adding links to sites you like in your blogroll, the owners of those blogs will find your blog and will be likely to add a reciprocal link in their blogrolls. It's an easy way to get the link to your blog in front of many readers on other blogs. The hope is that some of those readers will click on the link to your blog on the other blogs' blogrolls and find your content interesting and enjoyable turning them into loyal readers.

4. Harness the Power of Comments

Commenting is a simple and essential tool to increase your blog's traffic. First, respond to comments left on your blog to show your readers that you value their opinions and draw them into a two-way conversation. This will increase reader loyalty.
Second, leave comments on other blogs to drive new traffic. Make sure you leave your blog'sURL in your comment, so you create a link back to your own blog. Many people will read the comments left on a blog post. If they read a particularly interesting comment, they are highly likely to click on the link to visit the commentor's website. It's important to make sure you leave meaningful comments that are likely to invite people to click on your link to read more.

5. Syndicate Your Blog's Content with an RSS Feed

Setting up an RSS feed button on your blog makes it easy for your loyal readers to not just read your blog but also know when you publish new content.

6. Use Links and Trackbacks

Links are one of the most powerful parts of your blog. Not only are links noticed by search engines, but they also act as a tap on the shoulder to other bloggers who can easily identify who is linking to their sites. Linking helps to get you noticed by other bloggers who are likely to investigate the sites that are linking to them. This may lead them to become new readers of your blog or to add links to your blog from theirs.
You can take links to other blogs a step further by leaving a trackback on the other blog to let them know you've linked to them. Blogs that allow trackbacks will include a link back to your blog in the comments section of the post that you originally linked to. People do click on trackback links!

7. Tag Your Posts

It takes a few extra seconds to add tags to each of your blog posts, but it's worth the time in terms of the additional traffic tags can drive to your blog. Tags (like links) are easily noticed by search engines. They're also key to helping readers find your blog when they perform searches on popular blog search engines such as Technorati.

8. Submit Your Posts to Social Bookmarking Sites

Taking the time to submit your best posts to social bookmarking sites such as Digg,StumbleUponReddit and more can be a simple way to quickly boost traffic to your blog.

Top 5 Alternatives to Google AdSense

Google AdSense Alternatives
Google AdSense is a giant when it comes to advertising. For many bloggers, it’s THE advertising network, with a majority of their income coming from AdSense. You might be asking; Why on earth would anyone not want to consider Google AdSense, and go for its alternatives instead? Well, for a lot of people out there, it’s not about ‘what they want’, it’s about ‘what they have’.
Unfortunately, not everyone can get their blogs approved for AdSense. Google have sometough terms and conditions which a normal person (like me) can’t easily understand. Sometimes, advertisers find their accounts banned by Google, which is when the real problem starts. It’s (almost) impossible to get AdSense approved again for the same blog. In these situations, alternatives need to be found.
Google AdSense is not for everyoneHere are some of such alternatives you can use. Honestly speaking, they are not better than Google AdSense. But they are the next best thing you can get. So start thinking about them if you somehow can’t get your AdSense approved.
Top alternatives to Google AdSense
Let me tell you one more thing. Google AdSense places contextual ads on your website/blog, and operates on a CPC (Cost Per Click) basis. This means that ads placed on your website are related to your website/blog niche. And you get paid a certain amount for every click or number of clicks made on your ads. The alternative we are going to mention may have different mode of operations.

1. BuySellAds

BuySellAds is a direct advertisement network. This means you sell ad space on your blog to advertisers. It is one of the largest advertising network of its kind. But it has some restrictions too. You will need to meet the minimum traffic requirements to get approved. BuySellAds will automatically fetch you Google PR and Alexa statistics.
BuySellAds
Although BuySellAds is a great alternative, it is also hard to get approved with. Which is why you might want to look at other networks below.

2. Chitika

Chitika is an awesome Ad network, very similar to Google AdSense. It only showscontextual ads, like AdSense. And just like AdSense, it works on a CPC (Cost Per Click) basis. Payment is made through PayPal (minimum payout $10) and Check ($50 minimum). An added feature in Chitika is, it has an in built affiliate program. So if you refer anyone to Chitika, and they make sales, you get a %age of their sales as referral commission. Another great thing about Chitika is, you can use it side by side with Google Adsense. Hence, you can employ multiple means of income.
chitika

3. AdBrite

AdBrite is another great advertising option. It operates on a PPC (Pay Per Click) basis.   You get paid on the number of Clicks on each ad. You also have the option of rejecting any ads, which means you can place ads most relevant to your website. With AdBrite, you get as much as 75% of your sales, which is a decent portion compared to what some other programs give you.
AdBrite
You can also customize ads to fit in with your blog template. And the best part is, AdBrite don’t put long and tough terms and conditions. They have a very relaxed minimum traffic requirement. So you can easily get approved.

4. InfoLinks

InfoLinks is an In-line Text Ad Program. It has ads in the form of texts, and not images. Hence, visitors do not get distracted. This form of advertising is best suited for high traffic websites. With InfoLinks, you get a revenue share of 70%. Payment is done through PayPal, Check, Bank Transfer etc.
InfoLinks

5. Clicksor

Clicksor is another In-line Text ad program like InfoLinks. With Clicksor, you receive payments every 15 days, with a minimum payout limit of $50. Payment is sent through PayPal, Check, or Wire Transfer. Clicksor gives you a share of 85% of your total sales, which is higher than any other program! Clicksor also has an affiliate referral program, and you earn 10% of what the referred person earns as commission.
Clicksor
There are, by no means, all the alternatives to Google AdSense. These are only some of the top ones in our list. We would like to know which networks YOU are using, and what you think are better than these 5. Blessings :)
